From: Vince Perdue

My heart goes out Leo's family at this most difficult time. I have been away from the Downeyville area for most of my adult life and have not maintained close ties to school mates but I always considered Leo a dear and close friend. It was good to see him at our farm barn get togethers and he and Ken were always looking after the bar at the Perdue Christmas dinner every boxing day. I thought that was so considerate of him to take time out from his own family to help the cause of others. His Grand Knight portrait is displayed prominently in the hall and I know the work that went into holding that position.Leo, I miss you greatly. To the family: Leo was a wonderfull, kind and considerate man. He will be remembered fondly by friends and community.Sincerely,Vince Perdue

Constance and Justin: I cannot tell you how shocked I was to hear of your father's passing. He was such a presence his whole life, that it is difficult to imagine that he is not here. I have such fond memories of my (and my children's) time with your Dad and both of you. When you guys were young, Leo and I literally ran every decision by each other, so that we never felt that we were parenting alone. He loved you guys with all of his heart and your welfare and happiness was always paramount in his mind. This happened way too soon and we are all very sad here. He may not be with us in body, but remember that energy does not disappear and I know that he left plenty of that behind. I will be at the visitation on Wednesday. Love, Susan

My friend, we travelled many miles and roads together, and always with a laugh and chuckle, we had the best of times until we meet again.
