Entered into rest after a brief illness at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, July 9th, 2013 at the age of 76. Special dad to Kent Mitchell (Tara) and Peter Wilson (Kim). Survived by his mother Lottie Weir (York), brothers Gord (Evelyn), Ronnie (Patty), sisters June (Larry Weales), Hattie (Ed Till), Betty (Norris Stuart (deceased)), Donna (Eric), Janet (Robert Page) and Jean Weir. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Friday, July 19th from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home 705-324-1988.
