Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Irene for 65 years. Loving father of John Tatay Jr., Sandor Tatay, Thomas Tatay, Anna VanGelder (Frank), Steve Tatay (Joyce) and Andy Tatay (Angie Krissa). Grandfather of Josie Todd, Donald Tatay, Chris Tatay, Daniel VanGelder, Michael VanGelder and Laura VanGelder. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Thursday, September 9th from 1:30 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
