Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 at Lakeridge Health Centre Oshawa in his 67th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Stapley (2010). Loving father of Karen (Darrin) of Woodville, Brent (Tamara) of Little Britain and Gary (Kimberley) of Oshawa. Grandfather of Reagan, Mitchell, Brittany, Nathan and Kailin. Survived by his sister Gail (Bob). Predeceased by his brother Allen (Jackie). John will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Wednesday, April 10th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Thursday, April 11th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
