Mark, John Orr 'Jack'

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Shirley Mark of Valentia for 55 years. Loving father of Nancy Newton-Smith (Robin) of Cambridge, Vicki Parker (Max) of Lindsay, Douglas (Fonda) of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Much loved Poppa of Nichole Newton-Smith, Bryan Mark, Jacob Parker (Melissa), Angie Mark, Jeremy Newton-Smith (Cory), Jessica Mollon (Corey), Benjamin Parker, Georgette Parker and Tommy Mark. Great Grandpoppa of Emmalee and Zoey Mollon. Jack is survived by his brothers William of Valentia and James (Doreen) of Toronto, sister-in-law Doreen Harper of Lindsay and brother-in-law Wallace Dillman of Oshawa. Predeceased by his parents Orr and Ethel Mark, his brother Robert Mark, sisters-in-law Mabel Mark and Gertrude Dillman and brother-in-law Edgar Harper. Jack will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Tuesday, March 18th at 2:30 pm. Visitation from 12:30 until time of service. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit, The Lung Association or Victoria County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 705-324-1988.
