Suddenly but peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 in his 66th year at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Husband and good friend of Rosemary for 45 years. Much loved father of Michael, Leeanne (Paul Battah) and Stacey. Lovingly remembered by his only two grandchildren Taylor and Travis Battah. Dear brother of Dianne and her husband Glenn Davidson of Hartley. Predeceased by his mother Emily, his father Jack and brothers John and Brian. Treasured friend of John and Nancy Lytle of Kirkfield. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and his many many friends. There will be a memorial service at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, September 12th, 2009 at 2:30 pm. Interment to follow at Smith Cemetery, Woodville. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
