Parent, Gordon Austin
Suddenly, at home, in his 76th year, on Thursday, December 11th, 2008. Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, he spent most of his life in Scarborough. He is survived by his son John of Pickering, granddaughters Jenna and Sadie (John) and daughter-law Joeanne and grandson Michael (Mark) all of Bowmanville. Also survived by his brother George (Lorraine) of Montreal and nephew Allan. Predeceased by his son Mark (Feb. 1995) and his parents Patrick and Bessie. He worked for over 30 years for Metro Roads and Traffic Dept. Toronto and since retirement has resided in Peterborough. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be advised.
