It is with great sadness and grief that we announce the passing of Gilbert (Gib) Markham following a stroke, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, July 17th, 2011 in his 82nd year. He was the loving husband of Doreen. Loving father of Guy (Susan), Gord, Greg (Kim) and Neil (Barb). Devoted grandfather of 10 (2 predeceased), great grandfather of 7. Gib was also the loving brother of Charles (predeceased) and wife Freda, Ed (Blanche) both predeceased, Clayton (predeceased) and wife Gwen, Roy (Muriel) and sister Grace (predeceased). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Wednesday, July 20th from 11:00 am until time of service in the chapel at 12:00 pm.
