George Wesley Cawker

With his family by his side in his 88th year, George passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. George is survived by his beloved wife Mable. Loving father of Mike (Susan), Murray and Maryruth (Tom). Grandfather of Jeffrey and Sara Aubin (Jesse). Great grandpa of Ava Aubin. George is also remembered by step-daughter Faye Burnham (Gord) and their children and grandchildren. George’s passions were hockey, coaching, jamborees, antiques, his dog Ranger and THE MAPLE LEAFS. In keeping with George’s wishes there will be no funeral service at this time. A celebration of George’s life will be announced at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
