Passed away peacefully from his earthly to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in his 91st year. Dear and loving husband of Marie. Loving father of Donna Tuttle, Sharon (Louis Gans), Kenneth Stokes (predeceased), Rose Marie Meness (predeceased), Edward Stokes (predeceased), Mary Samis, Michael Stokes (Judith) and David Stokes. Grandfather of 11 and Great Grandfather of 22. Survived by his nephew Jack Procher. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Hubbard, Florence Rice and Frances Procher. “We loved you in life and will always keep you close to us. Till we meet again.” There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay on Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow.
