Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, after a courageous battle with lung cancer and emphysema on Friday, April 16th, 2010 in his 83rd year. Cremation has taken place. Donald was the loving father of Sandra Wild (Dennis) of Dunsford, Sharon O’Connell (Paul) of Downeyville, Susan O’Loughlin (Paul) of Lindsay, sons Bill Wild (Carol) of Dunsford and Donald Wild Jr. of Lindsay. Loving grandfather of the late Michael (2004), Darryl (Sherry), Dustin (Kary), Angie, David, Paul, Katie, Cory, Sean, Chad, Christine and Dannielle. Great grandfather of Jeremy, Jamie, Natalie, Amber, Michelle, Coulton and Adam (predeceased). Dear brother of George Wild (Noreen) of Whitby and his late brothers Doug Wild and Charles Wild. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Audrey (Musselman) Wild. Donald will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Thursday, April 22nd from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
