Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes on Sunday, December 15, 2013 in her 85th year. Formerly of Norland and Richmond Hill. Beloved wife of Denis of Adelaide Place, Lindsay for 66 years. Loving mother of Nancy (Keith Beard), Stephen, Noreen (Dairel McHale), Cheryl (Bryan Murchison), Jill (Michael Dosman), Suzanne (Randy Lean) and Donna (Todd Yates). Loving grandmother of Lauren, Kelly, Ryan, Cory, Jesse, Daniel, Peter, Jacob, Kate, Jamie, Blair and Thomas. Survived by her brother George Mount (Janet). Betty will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all who knew her. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Thursday, December 19 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers in memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Kawartha Lakes or Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home, 705-324-1988.
