WORKMAN, Barbara Ethel
Passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Lakeridge Hospital, Port Perry in her 75th year, after a courageous three year battle with cancer.  She leaves behind husband Frank; daughters Lynn (Jeff Zachmann) and Julie (Jim Sly); step son Darryl Workman (Stephie); mother Bea Watson; brothers Joe Schnabel (Lisa) and David Schnabel (Judy); sister Laurie; grandchildren Larry, Chad, Katie, Jessica, Jasmine and Jamie; great granddaughter Trinity. Predeceased by her father Joe Schnabel, husband Kent Turner, and daughter Tracy. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes there will be no service, just cremation.  A Celebration of Life will follow later.  If one wishes, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 705-324-1988. www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com

Celebration of Barbara's life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm at The Riverwood Park Club House, 9 Riverwood Road, Lindsay Ontario.
 
Directions; Turn west off of Highway #35 South [south of Hwy.#7] first street south of KIA Dealer onto Riverwood Park Road, follow around to club house which you will see behind the Petro Canada service station which fronts onto Hwy. #35 south.
