Arthur 'Art' Wallace Catton

CATTON, Arthur, (Art) Wallace
Following a brief illness at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, on June 7, 2017, in his 90th year. Beloved husband for 61 years of Dorothy, Margaret (nee Buechler). Dear brother in law to Carol Catton, Betty Askin and Fern Buechler and sister in law Joan Buechler. Predeceased by his brother, James and his parents, Harry and Marjorie Catton (nee Stanley). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Oshawa Ontario, Art worked at Bell Telephone in his early years as a linesman.  He went on to Sales of Farm supplies and later worked at farming livestock on their farm in Port Perry.  Art was active in Durham community and took a avid interest in wildlife in his area. Friends and relatives will be received 12-1 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Rd.)   A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel. Reception followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lifford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
