It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur Markham announces his passing on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008. Husband of Ethel, his loving wife of 57 years. Dear father of Christine. Grandfather (Gramps) of Kerri and Clare. Great grandfather (Pa) of Kyle, Drew, Carter and Amy. Brother of Cathy and Elizabeth of England and Lillian (Dennis Clark) of Australia. Sadly missed and remembered by brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends in England and Canada. The family would like to thank Dr. Petrosoniak and Dr. Zavery for their outstanding care of Arthur. In keeping with Arthur's wishes there will be no funeral, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date at home in England. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, PO Box 236, Lindsay, K9V 4S1. 705-324-1988.
