Alta Marie “Mickey” Steadman, nee Little, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in her 67th year. Beloved wife of David William Steadman of Lindsay. Loving mother of Thomas Steadman (Barb) of Newmarket and Theressa McGowan (Ralph) of Tottenham, and devoted grandmother of Camden, Gabrielle, and Ian. Dear sister of Noreen (Dale) Archer, Joan (Ted d.) Bacon, Beverly Healey, and Sandra (Barry) Parsons; predeceased by Helen (Allen) Deyell, Arlie Little, Eugene Little, Jackie (Harold) Imrie, Larry Little, and Janet (Bob) English. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel.
